Good for you for reporting to Consumer Reports, but please please please DO also post a report with Safercar.gov- click on "file a complaint' at this link. Some folks think that's only for cars etc., but not true. Trailers, RV's- whatever's on the road, reports get filed there. This is how many recalls etc. begin, and it's so important that they have the data.
Let's hope this was a fluke, but ya never know. Good luck with the repairs and please keep us posted on what you find out re. possible causes.
