What are you plugged into at the house??? Do you have a 50 amp RV outlet at the house? If you do, then yes you have some issues that people have offered good suggestions on.
If you don't have a 50A outlet, do you have a 30A outlet? If you don't and are trying to run the AC on a 15A household outlet, there's your problem, though the roof vents should run on a 15A circuit with no problem.
Have you fired up the generator and tried everything on it?
