Yes, I'm familiar with that one...unfortunately, it begins with wrong information- or perhaps it was right in 2009 when the post was written but is now no longer true. The most current parameters that I'm aware of can be found (with supporting links) in
this more recent thread. I s'pose there may be something even MORE recent out there...I don't see that it matters for purposes of this discussion, though.
I only meant to say that regardless of tire type, I think that the trailer maker's specifications per the load carrying capacity of the tires should govern the O.P.'s choices in that department.
