Entry Door Hinge
Are there any better options for the entry/exit door hinge setup? We are new 5th wheel owners with two toddlers. We are hoping for a soft close, or easier access/close system door.

Actually Lippert does make a friction hinge for the main door.

this isn't a friction hinge it is a self closer. a friction hinge wouldn't work for the OP unless I am miss understanding his post as it would make it harder to shut the door.
this isn't exactly what he is looking for either, I think what he really needs is the kids to be able to gently operate the door latch, which is hard for most adults it seems 🤔

ya I am not sure if he wants to stop yelling at the kids to close the door or make it easier to close the latch on the outside door with out slamming it. I find with my one I have to pull the handle as I close it to do it gently, then it broke and I put a new one on and it is way better but sometimes you still need to do that.
