While the eating is true, if not moving your rig, would likely be eating at home and doing the cooking. While moving your rig now eating on the road and it becomes and extra cost. You might have a per mile and per dim. - AllworthExplorer IIIf you are paying a "dim" driver, you may have a problem!

Does the per mile rate usually include all the driver's expenses; fuel, food, lodging? TIA...

Yes typically. But it doesn't hurt to ask. - laknoxNomadThanks, all. A friend is having a trailer towed and asked me. I didn't know for sure, so I asked y'all! :-)

I would get a contract, specifying all cost and the limits of the towers insurance. - DirtyOilExplorerAs a RV transporter, expenses are part of the "per/loaded mile". We did get a fuel discount using Pilot/Flying J credit cards, some motels on the various routes, did offer discounted rooms (slept in my truck - more money stayed in my wallet) meals were on my dime.
- dmansellpcExplorerA smart professional will have his expenses built in to his rate schedule.
