For long trips (3+ days) we will go ahead and set it up. It takes about 15 minutes to put together but when a rain storm hits, it is nice to have because you are a couple of feet off the ground and dry! Sometimes we'll have guests sleep out back on a blow up bed. Once we get the bigger TH with a garage, I doubt we'll ever own another outback room.
