extended warranty
we are buying a used 2006 fifth wheel, is it necessary to pay $4300 more for 5 years of warranty on heat, eater kitchen and a/c?

Self insure its the only way to go. Take that $4300 and put it the bank and after 5 years of no major repairs you'll have money in the bank. Give it to the warranty company anx they'll have it in the bank. They are in the business to make money not lose it. The two warranties I was quoted were around $1200 for five years with a $100 deductible.
