extra shoes

where do you store your extra shoes when traveling.
never realized how many we have
sandals, boots, flip flops, ( thongs for us older people ) dress etc. i was just putting them in a box, but must have better idea
  • We have a dinette with drawers near the door. Our everyday shoes (slippers, flip flops, hiking shoes) stay in there for easy access and they are out of the way. The other couple/few pairs are under the bed in the back of the coach.
  • On our last four week trip DW brought at least a dozen pairs and insisted that I bring dress shoes, sneakers, boots, deck shoes, flip flops.... My TV is a van which translates into closet. LOL
  • There is a real slick shoe storage for the RV that is like a regular bed skirt only with pockets sewn in.

Keeps shoes off the floor and out of sight! Actually you can store a whole lot of other stuff in those pockets too.

It's been posted numerous times on the forum but I can't find the link. Here is a link for it at amazon. They sell them at a lot of retail stores.

  • 1 pair on my feet; 1 pair in "my" wardrobe; flip flops at the end of the bed. What she does with hers is up to her. So long as they're not near the food or I'm tripping over them... :-)

    Lyle
  • In closet on floor or shelf
    In underbed storage

Course when we FT we had only a few shoes
Boots for me were everyday wear. Tennis shoes for GF
Flip flops/sandals were by front door

Dress shoes.I only need one pair. GF needed 3 basic dress shoes.

    Other than that ....bare foot
    Don't need more than that
  • Boots and ones we want in but don't use a lot, under the bed in the storage area. Ones used regular, we have in a cubby on the nightstand on each side of the bed.
