On the fuel side of things, I pull our 18000 lb cyclone with a '14 F-450. Pulling around 65-70 i get 9 mpg. Driving empty doing 65 i have gotten 16 mpg before which really surprised me. I liked the added insurance of the 450 it just seemed safer and tows great, don't even know the camper is back there on the highway. Also, the 450 turns tighter than the 350 from what i'm told. It doesn't feel like you are driving a dually if your using it for every day work. Im told the tighter turning radius has to do with the axle..?
