f250 6.2 and 327re good match or to much camper?

Hey everyone, I have a 2015 f250 with a 6.2 and 3:73 rear end, we are looking at a heritage glen or hemisphere 327re (same camper different names and colors) sticker on the two campers say 1800-1900 pin weight and about 10,000 pounds (before packed and loaded). My question is will this be to much camper for the truck? Plan on putting air bags and heavier tires on the truck with or without this camper. Per ford specs I'm fine but I would like to hear some real world numbers and experience.
  • Pulling 12,000 lbs scaled weight full water, pin 2,300 lb...see signature. Truck payload 3,253.

Gas engine and 2wd leaves lots of payload. Timbrens add for perfect level towing :)
  • Keep 6th locked out and when you start pulling hills let that 6.2 sing.
  • I think you'd be just fine with that combo, especially with the airbag and tire upgrade.
  • Open drivers door......YELLOW Sticker

It will have MAX Cargo Carrying Weight XXXX
Subtract your weight, ALL passengers weight, any stuff in cab, any stuff in truck bed including weight of 5th wheel hitch from that MAX CARGO number.

    How much is left??

Is it enough to handle 20-25% OF 5TH wheel GVWR (wet pin)
10,000 Dry weight----loaded up camp ready closer to 11,500/12000
    20% of 12000 ----2400# wet pin

that 5vr (327re) is going to be close depending on MAX CARGO number and trim level of truck
