Feeling really foolish!
Friday the dw and I headed out to one of our favorite rv parks about 30 miles from home. Just to get away for the weekend and enjoy the first trip of season . The 30 mile trip took us over two hours...

My wife and I work together on set up and tear down and double check each other. I put blocks under the front landing gear while she raises the front to where the hitch handle can be released then she stands there while I unlock handle open it and drive out. Then she levels the RV.
I would guess you do this with all aspects of hitching, and unhitching now, after driving off with water ,and power cord still connected, ya good advice ,but always after the fact . Same holds true for those fool proof hitches, until they are not fool proof any longer, then that bedsaver looks like a pretty good bargain.
