Thanks for all your ideas. I will try the rod and bottle jack tomorrow as I have those items. Lyle, I could have bought the new heavier companion base for the 20K pound rating but I would still have the rough bouncing ride on the bad roads. 3,600 lbs. of pin weight makes for some wild bouncing. I have installed new shocks and done other things and the Hensley is my last chance for a decent ride.
