My method. Wife takes phone with and pump number to see cashier, tells max dollar amount and DEF or not. I start fueling she goes to the RR and then do some shopping. When I am done I call her and let it ring twice letting her know to wrap it up and pay. I pull forward to wait for her and run in to use the RR.
Trucker behind is still fueling when we pull out.
A few cents more per gallon but when you are running doubles or a long RV Truck Stops are your friend!
