Where do you come up with those numbers? That is a blanket statement that has to have a pin weight to go along with.
My pin is 4,500# and I only add 100# to the front axle and my B&W is full forward, around 2.5" ahead of center line of rear axle. So you mu st be talking about a pin weight of around 14K based on my numbers.
Just saying
Industry standard is 2" ahead.
