My Dodge dealer wanted to install the hitch on my 2012 2500. (He saw the hitch on my trade.) I declined and opted to have my RV dealer install the hitch. I dropped my 5er at the RV dealer, on the way to pick up my new Dodge. It meant an extra trip for me, but that way the RV dealer could adjust the pinbox on the 5er if necessary. As it turned out, I did the right thing, because the pinbox did need adjusting. The Dodge dealer wouldn't have touched it. RV dealer did it at no extra charge.
