I'm just the opposite. Anything computer/technical, I'm in. Anything where I have to get my hands dirty, not so much. I'll do it, if it is a must or requires twice as much time for someone else to do it. (travel time and waiting).
Well I do them both!
Getting hands dirty as a kid was to save money. Now it is therapy and release from my I.T. job! The saving money part also still feels good.
