I'm just the opposite. Anything computer/technical, I'm in. Anything where I have to get my hands dirty, not so much. I'll do it, if it is a must or requires twice as much time for someone else to do it. (travel time and waiting).
Well I do them both! Getting hands dirty as a kid was to save money. Now it is therapy and release from my I.T. job! The saving money part also still feels good.
I'm right there with rhagfo. I have no fear of computers or mechanicals. DW has banned me for life from drywall finishing, however.
Oh, and I'm no longer allowed to barbecue ribs on the grill unless I make enough for the entire Fire Department!
