Hitches 5th wheels-- When backing up to hitch up, ALWAYS make sure the trailer hitch is approx. 2 inches lower than the truck hitch plate so the truck hitch plate makes the trailer slide up onto the truck plate. Insert safety pin. Leave the front hydraulic jacks about 1 inch off the ground, then do the bump test by sliding the electric brakes completly on take your foot off your brake, remove the chalks between the tires, give the truck some gas. If truck hitch and trailer stay hooked up, you are ready to go:)
