OP.. Do you have the owners manual for this hitch?
I would go over the hitching procedures again... Tug test.. always... visual test.. always...
Nothing is perfect...Any fifth wheel hitch can high hitch.. pretty much only two reduce the possibility to near zero, thats the Andersen Ultimate Fifth Wheel and the PullRite Ultralight. Both fit your rails.
I would have the hitch inspected to ensure that there is no damage... if there is none then I would make sure that I had the hitching procedure down...
If you don't trust the hitch... replace it... B&W, Pullrite, and many others make good fifth wheel hitches that work well.
