I have the REESE in my TV.
I have forgot to flip the little safety latch where you can throw a lock on it or a pin.
If I don't throw that little safety device, my pull handle will work out about an inch before I get pulled out of the site. I'm guessing that it would be uncoupled before I got too far!
Like the others suggest, you might be high hitching it! Pull test always!
Just wondering what position the jaws are in when it uncouples on you?
Open or closed! If closed, really looks like high hitch!
