Ok from what he said the jaws were closed before the kingpin entered the jaws and everything looked good after hitching then pulled away. I guess I will have to test this my self later. I am guessing his handle was closed WITHOUT it being pinned and the jaws opened to allow the kingpin to enter and then closed around the kingpin??? Then opened up to allow the kingpin to pull out of the jaws????
