fifth wheel hitch
should I buy hitch at dealer with fifth wheel purchase or have one installed before going to dealer ? thanks for any response

It is kind of a catch 22 situation. You can get a hitch cheaper elsewhere but how many installers are there to actually put them in. Most 5th wheel hitches are installed by dealers. Therefore dealers have the most experience.
I went to a small local dealer that sells very few new units but does service on just about anything. I bought and had them install the hitch there. My 5th wheel was delivered from out of state.
If you have a new truck with the puck system installation may be easy enough to do it yourself.
