should I buy hitch at dealer with fifth wheel purchase or have one installed before going to dealer ? thanks for any response

Where in AZ are you? If near the East Valley, check out Lewis Hitch, in Chandler. Excellent people to deal with and hitches is what they =do=. :B I did my own B&W Turnover Ball and Companion and helped my brother do his, but we were much younger. Now, they'd do all my work.
To answer your question, I'd much prefer a specialty hitch shop over 99% of the dealers out there.
