Fifth Wheel Lube Plate -- Who uses one?

We have used a lube plate, the only problem we have had is that while loading up the 5'er being a bit low and bending the plate or folding it up. Hubby just decided to go with using Lithium Grease and just watch where he is walking, or what he is putting in the truck. Good Luck and Happy Camping !!!
