My truck is a 2001 F350 crewcab with a 6'9" bed. I thought my mind was made up on a Pullrite superslide, Now after talking to a few people I'm thinking it might be to heavy? I'm already half boinic with 2 fake hips, fake knee, and back problems. So I'm going to need a hitch that is a little easier to take in and out when I'm not using it. I also have been told the Pullrite can be tough to hook up if your not completely level?
So now I'm leaning towards a manual slider hitch which I'm guessing is much lighter in weight and might be easier to hook and unhook? I also would like to know how often you guys actually use the manual slider? Any suggestions will be appreciated!

Since I'm a B&W "fanboy", according to some, I'll toss their slider into the ring, though you really may not need one. My '02 D'max will not hit my trailer at full lock in either direction when going forward. ALL will hit in reverse, the slider just makes it happen later. YMMV... The B&W hitches come apart in 2 pieces, though you can do what many of us have done and simply hoist it out of the bed. Personally, I have a cheapo engine hoist that I use and pull it out in a single piece. Others have used block and tackle to their garage rafters or an electric hoist. Drop it down onto a furniture dolly or a roll-around table. There are several variations of the B&W Companion hitches, so you should find one that's right for you. Great product and a great company to stand behind them.
