Unless it is something that is technical, why not have a metal fab shop build you one out of aluminum, and never have to worry again? My old WW had metal covers.

To be honest I've been trying to figure out what you were talking about. Now my best guys is this was the protective shroud over the gas line inside your garage. The one in my previous Raptor was made of diamond plate not plastic. You can see it in the picture wrapped around by the ramps I used. You can probably make something like this that is stronger.
