When a former TT was doing that (being weak going back in) I used a ratchet drive and a socket on the end opposite the motor to help it get over the hump. DW holding the switch inside and me with the ratchet underneath.
I did replace the motor but it was pricey.
Are you sure your batteries are up to snuff?
Thinking back later I remembered that you can also release the clutch at the motor and just crank it in and out manually twice a year. Ours was also a Coachmen so probably the same set up. The other end of the drive rod was either 3 4s or 7 8s.
