Fireplace
Tried to search and really could not find an answer... I see alot of new units have a fireplace in them.. how much heat do these actually give off? any issues? How much propane do they use compare...

We just love our electric fireplace. Dutch installed one in our probably 10 years ago. Love it for early morning or late evening temps. Since ours is installed at the very back of our Carriage, the heat heads toward the bedroom. The great thing is that our slide door to the bathroom is our second "thermostat". We close that door so the heat gets there then bounces off the door and back to the kitchen and living room. If it gets too hot and we don't want to adjust them fireplace knobs, we just open the door a bit half way or all the way to control how much heat we get in the living room. It is especially good when it is quite cold and the heat pump won't go on.
I will say, you need to remember to open the door about half an hour before you go to bed so the bathroom and bedroom get warmed up. I would never be without mine. Hugs, Di
