I'm with you planning is not one of my strong points. However once retired I may have time to do a bit of planning :{)
I carry 30' of hoses and power cords since my utilities are mid ship of my 47' overall length. Sometimes, I will nose into a back in spot so the trailer ramp faces out to the roadway which makes toy access easier but blocks the truck in. In these cases, all the lines are run under the truck or between the truck and camper to reach the utilities on the other side.
