Not much and certainly a lot less than on a triple axle. Well worth it for the load capacity and stability.
Newmar Mountain Aire and Kountry Aire had duals from around 2001 to the end of production. I think the last ones were 2010s or '11s. Most had GVWR around 20k.
Ours is 37' and, like "a flyfisher" above, 20k GVWR and about 18.5k loaded for long term travel.
