- SCVJeffExplorerBought this from a guy in Quartszite a few years ago right outside the tent. It's WAY more stout than anything else I have seen out there. The painted pipe is really heavy duty ABS that I laid at least 5 coats of paint and 10 coats of clear on and it's an almost identical match to the coach. This replaces the Poles and Holders base that I snapped in half in Quartzsite in the wind. The upper guide is also on the ladder, but this brute takes all the lateral forces and dead weight of the pole while the upper guide keeps it from slapping.
- Ford_ManExplorerSaw a flag pole at the Sevierville Tennessee RV Show a few weeks ago that was sold by www.polesandholders.com model number was PNH-22. It collapses down to 4 ft sections and was less than $60. Going to order me one soon.
- CA_TravelerExplorer IIII happen to like flying the American flag high. I also have a disk type solar LED rechargeable light on top of the pole that shines down on the flag. It makes people smile when they see it.

Absolutely not.
In my case I put up the flags after arriving and keep them up 24/7.
Flag etiquette says to light the flag at night. When my flags were down low my lights would also shine in the neighbors sites. With a light clamped on the pole just under the flag and above the top of my 5er the lights do not interfere with my neighbors.
C.B. - Splashers3ExplorerTotally agree with Dick_B - my flag pole holder is mounted to my TrailAir pin box. The PVC pole is about 3 ft high, and angles about 60 degrees, allowing the flag to freely wave.
The cast mount is the kind you would install (using screws) into your house or a pillar. - Dick_BExplorerDo you really need a 15 - 20 foot flagpole to be patriotic? We use one that is about three feet long with a small flag and fly it proudly.

The pole is similar to the Flagpole Buddy pole which has several problems:
1. The pins tend to wear larger holes in the pole.
2. The upper sections without pins tend to collapse.
Maybe they have a better pole - don't know. Where are they located?
Two other observations:
1. Their ladder mount requires climbing up the ladder. It is very short vertically which will place a lot more stress on the ladder.
2. Their $78 disk solar light is identical to the 2 I purchased on ebay for $20 each.
In my years of having and using a Poles and Holders pole in many harsh environment I have never had any of those problems. It is a better pole than the ones by Flagpole buddy,I have compared them when one failed at the beach one time in moderate winds.

Never said they were cheap but sometimes you have to pay for a quality product.
I had problems with collapse but found if I twist hard as I extend it does not collapse. Have to hit the end firmly on the ground to collapse for storage. Ladder mount holder. Installed it at a lower level so I don;t have to climb and use a small bungee cord as high as I can reach to hold it against the ladder to keep it from banging around. - CA_TravelerExplorer IIIThanks as I want a better pole.
- bigdon68ExplorerThanks everyone. Really appreciate your advice.
