I took the sawsall to the back corner of the pin box mount, like many of us have done. It is not the pin box the hits the side rail of the truck, it is mount that hands down out of the front over hang. Trim it off at an angle. I lost one hole on the bottom back corners of the two mount plates.
In this picture you can see the angle is the same as the pin box and square corner is gone.
