Folding Mirror

I have a ford F350 with f0lding Mirrors an now the passanger side

stopped working, has any one had this problem. Does anyone know the

fix ????
  • Did you try to open them by hand? Sometimes they get out of sync and opening the one manually then fold it back will put it back in sync so the power will work again.
  • Check out 1aauto, they have after market mirrors. I'm happy with mine they aren't power fold so I can't speak to that specifically but the heat and power and puddle lights work great after a couple years
  • Happened to a co-worker. $1400 for him too.

Don't really mind my manual fold mirrors after hearing that.

If someone pushes on them (parking lot situation) it will strip the plastic gears. There is no service module. $1400 for new mirror but your insurance will cover

That is nice to know, but a very bad design!!!
  • As long as you have the FORD ESP you should be covered, my 2012 was. I darn near fell over when I found out how much it cost to fix it.

    Cheers!

  • Yes I have. Truck folding mirrors work only so long...3 miles beyond the warranty. What year is your F350?
