Ford F-350 factory rv prep and adaptor plate for Reese 18k

I took delivery of my 2016 F-350 with RV prep pkg. Then ordered and installed the Reese adaptor plate that matches up with the Reese 18K slider. Everything fits like a glove and is very tight...my que...

Did you already have your Reese hitch? If so I understand the adapter. However, Reese does make a direct fit slider for the Ford factory prep that wouldn't' require an additional adapter. Not sure if you were aware of that.
