Ford F350 axel ratio 3.31

I'm currently towing with a 6.4 and a 3:73 rear so I had somewhat of a basis to compare to when I tried out a 6.7 with 3:31 gears. Personally, I did not like the ump (or lack of) that the 3:31 had taking off from a dead stop. I'm sure the 3:31 will tow our 5vers just fine on the road but I am very concerned about the wear on the tranny due to the increased torque the engines will throwing into the tranny for taking off from dead stops with the 3:31 gears. Concerned enough that I did not buy the truck. JMHO
