- blue_trawlerExplorerI have the Diesel engine in my 13! Had a V 10 before! Can't believe the difference in power! I used to cruise at 70 at 2100rpm in the V 10 thinking, it's not even working! Now about 70 doing 1600 rpm. It will blow u away! It is also very quite running!
Bruce. - fivecodysExplorerAre you all talking about the same engine or are we going back and forth between 6.7 and a gasser?
I ask because I am looking at replacing my current truck with a F 350 6.7L next year.
Would like to get a larger trailer in a few years.
Bill - blue_trawlerExplorerI already posted this? Is that what u r saying? Ummmmm?
Thanks but don't remember! Did I lie on anything? Story still the same? Lol
Bruce - blue_trawlerExplorerJust a follow up on my new truck. I now have about 4300 miles on it and It is amazing! I am getting getting about 10.5 towing at about 68-70. Power is is unbelievable! Really haven't driven it on the highway with out the rv.
bruce - blue_trawlerExplorerOk, getting closer to receiving my New Truck. Should be here next week. Just going to have my windows tinted, pin strip and have the plug replaced to the bed of the truck, then I am done. Woohoo
bruce - vickarkExplorerOur 2011 6.7 f350 4x4 gets 11.7 towing a 33' loaded and gets 17.5 empty. Never been a problem running out of power. It has 3.31 gears.

I have a F-350 6.7 4/2 with a 3.73 and pull a 5th 39 + inches or just say 40 feet, weight 16,500 with no problems and get average towing of 12-13 mpg in low hills you know overpasses and such. Have got in 15-16 on level road of 20 miles are so. Works fine for me. Running on hwy empty normally get 19-23 regularly. Just my two cents worth.
Even more unbelievable
Belive what you want but on this trip I am averaging 10-10.9 on north Texas and now in ark. I drive say 60 to 64 mph. Works for me what can I say. The non towing figures are ok to.;) - rodsnreelsExplorerTowing a 10K fiver plus my boat I have had no problems with my '11 F350 4x4 single rear wheels. Not even sure what the gear ratio is now. I get about 13 mpg empty in town, 17-19 on the highway at 70-75 mph. Towing I get around 12 mpg at 65 mph. Only have 24K miles on the truck so far though. Now that I'm retiring, I hope to be on the road fishing a lot more!
- DIVECOP_1ExplorerClose to same as Vulcaneer 13-15 around town & highway at 70 11-11.5 towing with a duelly 4X4. That's using a calulator not what the truck says.
- jeb5ExplorerYou will not have a problem. I have the 3.55 because it was a 4x4. I would have selected the lower rear end if it was available. This motor and transmission is outstand to pull a RV. Good mileage and super performance.
