Ford Tow Command

I can only report what I was told by my Ford Dealer Service Manager. On my 2003 F250 Lariat 7.3L Diesel 4X4 it only shows an ABS failure code if it is failing at the time of the check. Apparently not stored. My ABS light on the dash would show an error sometimes but not always. It was showing when the Ford dealer tested it. Again on my 2003 F250 the sensor wiring and the sensor are all one assembly so effectively both have to be changed at the same time. I was quoted $450 at the Ford Dealer to repair it. The FOMOCO sensor including its associated wiring is a $50 item on eBay and took an independent dealer about 1/2 hour to replace it. They did it under warranty since they had misrouted the sensor wiring when doing a ball joint replacement.
