Ford versus Dodge truck for towing 40 foot 5th wheel

I have a 2009 F250 right now and we just purchased a 2012 40 foot Alpine fifth wheel. I am wondering if we should get a dually truck and if we should go with a Ford or Dodge. I have had real good luck...

I don't buy in to the previous post that said "dually for sure". I have a 2014 Columbus 365RL. It is 39'7" in length, 100" wide, 11,766 dry weight (mine weighed 12,120 when it left the manufacturer), and the dry hitch weight is 1,910. My tow vehicle is a 2010 F350 crew cab SRW, long bed. It tows the fiver with ease, I have never felt unsafe, and I have never exceeded the towing capacities of the truck.
