I don't buy in to the previous post that said "dually for sure". I have a 2014 Columbus 365RL. It is 39'7" in length, 100" wide, 11,766 dry weight (mine weighed 12,120 when it left the manufacturer), and the dry hitch weight is 1,910. My tow vehicle is a 2010 F350 crew cab SRW, long bed. It tows the fiver with ease, I have never felt unsafe, and I have never exceeded the towing capacities of the truck.
You are talking a lot of fictitious numbers. Weigh your rig loaded. You may be surprised.
Try an emergency down hill lane change or have a huge gust of wind hit you and then tell us you don't need a dually!
The GVWR of that 5th wheel is 15,910#...
A trip across the scales will be an eye opener
Yes SRW can tow 5vr safely all within ratings...but there comes a weight where they are limited and it's time for a DRW.
My SRW tows my 14K 5vr just fine BUT any heavier I'd be over and would have needed a Dually.
