I have a 14k 40 ft fiver and pull it with ease with a 2011 f350 6.7 diesel srw.
Wouldve loved to have gotten a dually but its my everyday driver too.Having a dually is not the easiest truck to get around in when your not towing unless everywhere you go is wide open.Not my case where I live.I would be limited where I could go in a dually around here.Six tires to replace.Wouldnt fit in my garage.All personal preference I suppose but it wouldnt be very practical for myself.
People bring up hypothetical situations about sidewind ect.I could give you plenty of hypothetical situations where you would be screwed in a dually as well.Might as well get a semi! Lol.
