OP, so your looking for DRW or SRW and going used.
I went from an 08 Lariat SRW to a 13 Lariat DRW. I switched to a DRW because it only cost me new, an extra $500 for the DRW. But if you don't get as good a deal in what you find used, and your capacity is fine for a SRW, I would just go with the SRW.
That said, I really enjoy my 13, in different ways than the 08. The 6.7 has gobs of power, and is very quiet. I do have more turbo lag it seems with the 6.7 over the 6.4. But it just may be more noticeable because, it slams you back in the seat in the 6.7 when it kicks in running empty. You will really like the 6.7 pulling a trailer, which is about all we use ours for (it's sitting in the garage this winter).
Don't know anything about the Dodges, other than they didn't make one in my needed layout (Supercab, long box). Now the Chevy's have updated their interior for 14, but don't seem to offer my needs either. So for me, there was only one choice, and it has worked out very well so far.
