I'm sure the vehicles that are used for a car show tour around the country get's the doors opened/closed hundreds of times/day.
Another thing I noticed on some of the vehicles brands with light tan leather seats is how the leather is discolored from all the people sliding in and out the seats with blue jeans and leaving some of the dye on the leather.
You're probably right...I don't particularly care for the lighter leather seats myself.
