And, according to the CPSC.gov (consumer product safety commission), PLYWOOD does contain formaldehyde.

Pressed-wood and wood-based products: Pressed-wood (i.e., hardwood plywood, particleboard, and medium-density fiberboard (MDF)) and wood-based products, especially those containing UF resins, may be a significant formaldehyde source. - travelnutzExplorer IIJane,

I called Carriage when I purchased my Cameo and told them I was concerned about Formaldehyde. They assured me that Carriage products do not have any Formaldehyde in their Fifth Wheels.......
Carriage RV has always use plywood and solid wood and never particle board, aspenite, or pressed wood like some of the other manufactures are using. They used NO formaldehydes (CH2O)in their RV's. - shadows4NomadI would think a 2009 model would have done all the out gassing it is going to do. Shouldn't be a problem, but what do I know? Good luck, John
