Front cone cracked?

The round plastic nose cone on our 5er has a good sized crack in it. I noticed it a couple months ago and tried an eproxy. I stopped by to check on it this week and noticed the split was a bit larger and it cracked right through the epoxy.

Is there a product made specifically to repair this?

What do you recommend?
  • I had a stress crack in the front cap of my Bighorn. Turned out that some weld joints had broken in that area causing a flex. Had to take it back to Heartland to get it fixed. If you are experiencing a crack that is growing, you probably have a problem somewhere in the front cap area.
  • First you need to find/fix the cause of that stress crack.

Sounds like it may be due to pin box flexing........see this post from Sept '13.....LINK
Maybe 'TucsonJim' will chime in on his 2002 R-Vision flex problems.

After bracing pin box then front cap needs to be repaired by a shop. Caulking/epoxy isn't going to hold up
