The nut on the bolt holding the linkage arm from the drive motor to the passengers side leg may be coming loose and hitting on the drive motor. I have a similar issue but it's because the bolt put in by an RV repair outfit is too long and it is hitting on the motor body making a "clunking" sound. I'd check the linkage nut and bolt.
