Front fiberglass loose and dented

Hi all, just arrived at our first stop of 5 on a 1600 mile trip. Upon arrival we noticed the front fiberglass is bubbled and dented. I waxed the camper before we left and this was not like this. So, obviously there is delamination, but what options do I have at this point? We have 1200 more miles to go. I have an extended warranty which I call first thing tomorrow but thought I would get some feedback from the forum in the meantime. Oh, we are currently near Niagara, so finding an RV service should not be too difficult. I i would post a picture but having trouble from my phone. I will work on that. Thanks!

  • Hopefully that will work, I was having problems linking a photo bucket picture. The unit is a 2007 Coachmen Chaparral 269 BHS. After looking into more, water must have gotten in, there is a mark on the wall and the carpet was damp in the corner on our last trip. I dried it and caulked everything, guess I was too late. We bought the camper last fall and I could not tell any of that. We love the camper, so not I have to figure out how to fix it.
  • Am assuming your near Niagara Falls NY. Don't go to Colten's. Buddy of mine is having a H*** of a time w/ them. What brand 5er? If coming thru Syracuse can recommend a couple places. PM me if you are and want info.
  • I get a little chucking on highways with expansions joints, other that that pulls fine.
  • How did your fiver pull on the first part of your trip? Did you have lots of chucking? My point is there something under the front cap that is causing the problem, like frame flexing?
  • Just wondering where the RV was made and if you can make an appointment to go by the factory maybe they can replace The front Fiberglas
