front landing jacks
my legs come way down does anyone build a set of blocks to put under jacks. someone told me it is unsafe because it could roll off. I am thinking of cutting 2x4x12" and make them about 8" tall

On soft ground, I use a couple spare lego leveler blocks under the front legs. I normally will power the legs down to within about 18" of the ground, then drop the extensions. No need to do more than that. At my usual boondock site, though, I have to power the legs down to within about 6" of the ground because I have to drop the nose almost 2' after unhooking, to reach level.
