front landing jacks
my legs come way down does anyone build a set of blocks to put under jacks. someone told me it is unsafe because it could roll off. I am thinking of cutting 2x4x12" and make them about 8" tall

The more you extend the landing gear the more unstable your unit will become. the shorter the landing gear the less movement. Some people use kingpin tripods to help stabilize the unit others use JT strong arms. both the tripod and the stabilizers can be used in conjunction with blocks that shorten the length of the landing gear.
