Been using a tripod on our 39 Denali and it does a decent job of getting the wiggle out. But is the cross braces that attach to the front legs any better?
I use a aluminum bi-pod pin stabilizer that can only prevent side to side sway at the trailer front and for the trailers rear I use the BAL telescoping stabilizer that stops side to side/up and down movement.....and adjustable chocks between the tires that eliminates fore and aft movement in my 32' 5th wheel trailer. I'm rock solid as my medical condition requires.
I've got about 130 bucks invested through CL. - James57Explorer1000 x better I used there design built
my own saved 200 dollar on 3 pair. - rhagfoExplorer III

I asked the question to an owner of the open road model fifth last year about how did he like the Jt's. Not worth fooling with them was his answer. You bought the fifth used I asked. Yes was the response and I knew he didn't understand how to adjust the jt's. He would try how I told him next time he used the fifth.
chevman or another Larry. Winfield product isn't close to the Jt's as the one I saw was just on the front.

You don’t just level and tighten the clamps, once very near level like 1/4” to 1/2” nose low, set rear stabilizers as you would normally and tighten JT’s, now tighten the front JT’s and lift that 1/4” to 1/2” this loads all the arms, and 5er is solid. - larry_barnhartExplorer

About 1000% better!
Figuring out how to sell my tripod, as we installed a set of JT Strongarms last year, and far superior to a tripod.
You can get a set of JT’s from PPL Motor Homes for about $230.
Well I guess this is an agree to disagree thing. I removed my factory installed Strongarms when one got stuck. I didn’t think it was worth fixing because they didn’t seem to do anything.

Check out the Staedyfast Stabilizers, they only have three handles to turn on the ends of the stabilizers. Easy to install, outstanding customer service and owner. One of the best investments we've made.
Steadyfast are now more costly than JT’s and require replacing the jack pads with smaller lighter weight pads.
Our landing gear is hydraulic and did not have to replace anything, drilled a couple of holes in one pad. The Steadyfast came with larger pads for the rear stabilizers, easy bolt on. Total install time was 2 1/2 hours. - rhagfoExplorer III

- Dave_H_MExplorer IIOP asked about cross braces on the front legs. Everyone is talking JT's.
I just have cross braces (think they are Winfields) and they take care of my needs.
i stop the for and aft with X Chocks.
