Front Leg Cross Braces vs Tripod

Been using a tripod on our 39 Denali and it does a decent job of getting the wiggle out. But is the cross braces that attach to the front legs any better?

  • Sounds like I may have to try them. But would be near impossible for the rear since my jacks are just behind the rear tire and they don't extend down very far and I would have to crawl under the camper to tighten the bars.
  • Night and day difference. I made mine and made a set for the rear also. No movement.
  • ditto Russ's comment above - my experience exactly. Actually, I should say "my wife's experience". She complained I just about made her sea-sick when I got up early, made coffee, etc, with all the rocking and rolling. Installed JTs and not another complaint about wiggles.

    Only
    About 1000% better!
Figuring out how to sell my tripod, as we installed a set of JT Strongarms last year, and far superior to a tripod.
You can get a set of JT’s from PPL Motor Homes for about $230.
